We have broken down our
portfolio into four (4) groups:
Static content is made up of text
and images displayed as the same web page to every visitor. Every person
visting a static content web page sees the same information each time
they visit that web page. Many times static sites are referred to as
web brouchures, but even static sites can serve as useful customer services
tools and more despite the lack of interaction. static
sites
Dynamic content refers to a wide
range of information, but the gist of dynamic content is that not every
visitor is served the same information. It is done by various means
to accomplish various tasks. Dynamic content is interactive.
Delivering dynamic content is done in various ways. At the onset a script
is required to search information and display that information. In some
cases it is based on the users profile. In other cases it is not, such
as our example (at left) of Gogees a cat breeder. The
breeder accesses a private web page (a form) to indicate (administrate)
what kittens are available. That form writes her information to a database;
information such as gender, price, name, and comments. Now when a user
visits that page (kittens for sale page), some of the information is
static such as the design, but the information about kittens is displayed
dynamically.
This term is used loosely but the fact
is there are many forms of e-commerce. For instance we know that e-commerce
means doing business on the web. But does every transaction on the web
result in money changing hands right after the buyer places the order?
The answer is no. Sometimes a web site only needs an ordering system;
and that ordering system can log the orders in a batch for a database
or simply e-mail the order to the business owner so they may either
contact the buyer or complete the transaction. more
You decide by your budget constraints or business
infrastructure
Only you can decide the level of automation you want to execute. We can build
a web site that completes orders and archives the data while sending you and the buyer an e-mail
confirmation, or any combination of the three. The order can be partially completed in that you
are notified of the order, or we can install a transaction terminal to actually charge the buyer's
credit card. We can even help you establish a merchant account if you have no background in
commerce. It helps if you already have a bank account with merchant account but it is not
necessary. We can even help you establish a Pay-Pal account which many small vendors opt for due
to the ease of set up and easier banking requirments.
Yes we build Shopping Carts
This too is a form of e-commerce. Essentially a
shopping cart is a means of allowing people to visit
your online catalog of products and place multiple
product requests in one order. The visitor can then
add, edit, or delete products from the order. In
the end, the shopping cart adds up the cost including
shipping if necessary and processes the the order.
Once again, this can either merely take the order
and notify you the business owner, or process the
order through an online transaction terminal leaving
you with only one task, shipping the product. So
you can take your e-commerce plan to whatever level
your budget allows. e-commerce
